Mr. Tembe is a qualified Occupational Therapist who earned an Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. He completed his community service at a public institution under supervision from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2018. Following this, he continued his career as a Junior Occupational Therapist at various public institutions. He has also obtained advanced and intermediate medico-legal certificates from Medcare Holdings, facilitated by Ms. Gwen-Marie Beatrix Cloate.

Together with Ms. Mathonsi, Mr. Tembe was responsible for a diverse range of duties as an Occupational Therapist. These included assessing and treating patients, issuing assistive devices, and conducting work site, home, and school visits. They also performed functional capacity evaluations, made necessary recommendations, and prepared reports.
